The French link snaffle is often favored by ponies as the lack of palate pressure makes the bit more comfortable and relieves pressure on their bars. Often wrongly mistaken for a Dr Bristol, the French link snaffle is a very kind bit, as the central plate is shaped and lies flat on the tongue passively. A Dee bit is a mild snaffle. Its "D" shaped rings help with lateral control of the head. Its effect is a little stronger than the Eggbutt bits.
This bit features an 18 mm mouth. Stainless Steel.
