Extra large top makes it easy to load. Heavy denier nylon with peace sign divider and quick grip closures at top so hay can't be drug out of the top. It features a 10" wide mesh bottom, adjustable shoulder strap with snap 24" x 20". I would not recommend for a small headed pony or mini. If you wanted to use it for a smaller pony or mini I would put the hay in a net then inside the bag. The holes on the peace sign worry me - just my opinion.
